How you and I work together
The first time you contact me requesting an appointment, you receive an invitation to complete a Symptoms Questionnaire and a Health History form. After that, we schedule your first session together.
The first session takes 60 to 90 minutes. During this time we discuss your health history form, your symptoms, supplements, lab work if you have any, and we will start looking for the root causes of why your body is presenting the specific kind of 'dis-ease' you have.
We also start investigating what are the interconnected points that are leading to your complaints. I give you my first insights and we try some options for rapid relief while digging further into your condition in the following sessions to come.
We meet every 2 weeks. Each session brings us closer to finding the real root cause of your dis-ease. I highly recommend that you get a full blood work lab done in order to address deficiencies that you might have, to look for interconnected factors. This also allows for a proper recommendation on targeted nutrition and potential supplements needed for your unique way back to good health.
NOTE: Other exams might be needed, such as stool and urine samples to access the health of your gut or metabolites.
After each session you will receive an email containing all the main points discussed in that session, the supplement(s) recommended, nutritional recipes and any important reminders for you to follow up on during the following weeks.
In order to achieve the best results, longevity and consistency are essential. I always say this up front because from previous experience, the most successful results come from individuals who have followed a nutritional and functional medicine program of between 3 to 6 months.

I help you understand and find the root cause of the problems you are experiencing.
Together we solve these root causes through changes in diet and lifestyle.
I do not diagnose or put clients on (or take clients off) medication.
I am not a doctor.
I work with you alone. I also work together with you and your doctor (if required)
I inform and help educate you on your body and explain the interconnected parts within your body. This fact based information empowers you to try new things and make the necessary changes to transition into a healthier lifestyle. This ultimately brings joy and vitality back into your life.

I provide you with the self-awareness needed to make the best decisions for yourself. I totally believe each person is fully capable of making well-informed choices as they are their own expert, not the latest trendy magazine articles or fads such as diet books. You’ve probably tried and failed with these numerous times already.
Together we use facts and real information to trigger specific goals that bring you closer to where you want to be. As your personal health educator, I do not dictate a diet for you. No, together we explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to positively use that realtime internal feedback. From here we co-create your health goals (within an achievable time frame) and focus on actionable objectives so you know exactly what your mind and body are working toward.
